Proper techniques in mixing drinks and cocktails are very essential for the bars success. In addition to learning how to make drinks, there are several other areas of bar tending that often go unnoticed.
For many bartending jobs you must be extremely efficient at making drinks and serving customers, there is just no time to learn on the job. In the space, install a small sink with running water, which is important to keep hygienic, a small refrigerator and a chair or two for you to rest in your free time. A bartender who spends too much time attending the customers can be a problem as well, since they will either leave a big mess, or else rack up overtime hours doing things they should have been doing during their regular shift.
